Ploughman’s Platter
Ploughman’s Platter
This meal is fantastic because it is quick and interactive and enables you to create different combinations and taste sensations.
What you need:
4-8 Slices of oven roasted turkey or chicken
4-8 slices of prosciutto or summer sausage
2 boiled eggs
½ cucumber
5-6 radishes
Heirloom tomatoes
1 container of hummus
Variety of olives
1 loaf of bread
Double Cream Brie (featured here but other varieties are possible including blue, sharp cheddar, asiago, Swiss or havarti).
How to make it happen:
First, boil two eggs for 7-10 minutes. Once the eggs have cooled, remove the shell and slice.
Next, wash and cut the heirloom tomatoes, cucumber and radishes and arrange them on a platter. Once the veggies and eggs are arranged on the platter, drizzle extra virgin olive oil on top and add salt and pepper to taste.
Take the cold cuts and roll the meat slices into individual servings. Arrange the pieces on the platter.
Finally, slice the bread into thick pieces and add the cheese, hummus and olives to the platter.
